Fine Art. For many years my fine art photography was in black-and-white. I became an expert in the darkroom, making large archival prints up to 16x20 (a cumbersome task when you are dealing with actual chemical trays that size).  Over the years, I trained many of my assistants in the fine points of dodging and burning, selective development, toning, fixing, washing, then flattening and mounting silver gelatin prints (the old-fashioned  standard  photograph).  As noted above, the digital revolution, which reached my studio in about 2003, gave me the same creative freedom in color as I had always had with black-and-white.  Hence the shift in my artwork from moody black-and-white to jazzy color (see my various portfolios below).
